Sport Management

The Bachelor of Science in Sport Management offered by UF Online prepares students for a dynamic career in the sports industry. This program equips students with essential skills in management, marketing, finance, and law as they relate to sports organizations. Graduates can pursue various roles, including athletic director, sports event manager, and facility manager, among others. The curriculum includes core courses such as Social Issues in Sport, Sport Operations and Facility Design, and Sport Marketing, alongside elective options like The Legal Environment of Business. A key component of the program is a 12-credit internship, which can be completed part-time or full-time, or students may choose a non-internship track by taking additional sport management courses. This flexibility allows students to tailor their education to their career goals while gaining practical experience in the field.
