Master of Science in Biotechnology

Northeastern University's Master of Science in Biotechnology is a professional science master's program designed to equip students with essential biotechnology skills and knowledge for success in various sectors, including industrial, governmental, and clinical settings. The curriculum integrates advanced training in biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, and pharmaceutical science, alongside critical business skills necessary for today's dynamic workplace. Students can choose from four concentrations: Agricultural Biotechnology, Biodefense, Biopharmaceutical Technologies and Analytics, and Biotechnology Operations, each featuring a co-op work experience. The program is primarily online, allowing flexibility, but includes two hybrid lab courses that require attendance on the Boston campus.
