Bachelor of Public Health

The Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) program at New Mexico State University Global Campus is designed to prepare students for a successful career in public health. This fully online program requires the completion of 120 credits, including 320 hours of supervised field experience in a professional public health setting. Students will engage in hands-on learning, applying evidence-based solutions to real-world health scenarios, and exploring social and behavioral science theories relevant to public health. The curriculum covers essential topics such as epidemiology, health program administration, and health informatics. Graduates will be eligible to take the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam, equipping them for various roles in community health, public health departments, and private sectors.
