Professional Taxation

The Master of Science in Professional Taxation (M.S.T.) at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business is designed to equip students with both technical and soft skills essential for success in the taxation field. The program consists of 10 courses totaling 30 credits, including six required courses and four electives. Students can complete the program in a full-time, one-year format or opt for a part-time schedule over two years, making it suitable for working professionals. The curriculum covers contemporary tax laws and trends, with courses taught by industry professionals. Electives allow students to tailor their education to specific interests, such as corporate tax or international tax. Beginning Fall 2023, all courses are offered online in a live format, enabling students to earn their degree remotely. This program prepares graduates for leadership roles in taxation, emphasizing effective communication, ethical considerations, and analytical skills.
