Bachelor of Arts - Global Security and International Affairs

The Bachelor of Arts in Global Security and International Affairs at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) is an online program designed to provide a comprehensive interdisciplinary education in international affairs and security studies. This unique program, the only one of its kind in the Florida State University System, requires students to complete 120 credit hours, including core courses such as American National Government, International Relations, and National Security Policy. Additionally, students must complete 12 credit hours in a foreign language and a minor concentration of 18 credit hours in an approved discipline. The curriculum prepares graduates for various careers in government, non-profits, and the private sector, focusing on pressing global challenges and equipping them with the necessary skills for roles such as Foreign Service Officer, Intelligence Analyst, and Policy Advisor.
