Bachelor of Social Work

The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program at Briar Cliff University is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in social work and for further graduate education. This accredited program emphasizes ethical and professional behavior, engagement with diverse populations, and the advancement of human rights and social justice. Students will complete a comprehensive curriculum that includes 12 required social work courses, a practicum experience, and two elective courses. The program also offers concentrations in areas such as Children, Youth and Families, Behavioral Health & Addictions, and Faith-Based Ministry, allowing students to tailor their education to their interests.
