Master of Social Work

Boise State University's Master of Social Work (MSW) Online program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills for advanced social work practice. The curriculum focuses on clinical, organizational, and policy skills essential for promoting social justice and enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families. The program is fully online, providing flexibility for students to balance their studies with personal and professional commitments. It offers both a Regular Program for those with non-social work bachelor's degrees and an Advanced Standing option for graduates from accredited social work programs. The Advanced Standing MSW can be completed in as little as three semesters for full-time students or less than two years for part-time students. The program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, ensuring a high-quality education that prepares graduates for impactful careers in social work.
